The problem I had with Scottrade were speed issues and the site just never seemed to run well for me. They do have great tools though and the $500 minimum is convenient for smaller investors.

Only thing I really don’t like about Scottrade, is the inability to take advantage of DRIP’s for longer term buys. If you’re going to hold onto a stock for a couple of years, and it pays dividends, it’s almost like losing money by not being able to be enrolled in DRIP

I know Scottrade has operations in China but you will simply need to go to the site to find the information you seek.
